Therma-Shield III doors will not emit ozone damaging CFC or lose "R" value with age. LOW MAINTENANCE:
Therma-Shield III features don't stop with maximum energy insulating values either. The coating process on hot dipped galvanized steel skins inhibit the rusting process associated with non-treated steel. In addition the door is further protected with a two-coat process of polyester primer and acrylic finish. This means that the Garage Door will probably require less maintenance than the rest of the exterior of the building. STRONG AND DURABLE:
Therm-a-Shield III laminated construction consists of high strength roll-formed 26 gauge steel, inside and outside, with 3" thick EPS foam bonding the package together to create a strong and durable product. Exterior steel backup plates under all hardware attachment points provide the thickness required to ensure maximum holding strength for the hardware fasteners. ATTRACTIVE APPEARANCE:
Woodgrain embossed steel, pre-finished in White, de-emphasizes those occasional nicks and scratches occurring after the installation that are readily noticeable on smooth surfaces. This helps Therma-Shield III maintain that "New Look" for years to come. JOB ADAPTABLE:
Because of necessity, many jobs require special options and Therma-Shield III has been designed to provide these options, not as an add on after thought, but functionally and economically without sacrificing the integrity of the product.
